I love to knit, bookmarks, bags, wash cloths, scarves, hats, afghans, lap blankets, dolls, ect,
This year I want to learn to knit socks, and crochet Amigurumi. I also like to felt, plastic canvas, cross sticth, sew, beading, jewelry, general crafts. I love my dogs, Diamond and Dakota, Alaskan Malamutes. I have owned many breeds, No stranger to the ring, obedience, confirmation, agility, fly ball, pet therapy, pet sitting, doggie daycare. I love all animals, and needle arts. Last, but not least, I spin, and knit with my dogs fur!
What's your Ravelry ID (if you have one)? (www.ravelry.com)
Oh please forgive me...Katrina, I never even considered that. It's supposed to snow 2-4 inches up here tomorrow. Would you like me to copy my cat bordhi book for you? I would since you already purchased it and nature took it back. I will definitely look into the yahoo group, thanks for the link. I am thinking about entering the sock contest that Knitters Magazine is hosting. I haven't come up with anything brilliant yet :>/
Ducky had struvite crystals in his urine which blocked the urine from coming out. We caught it in time. It's Feline Urinary Tract Disease or something. We have an older cat who had that as well, and he has done famously on herbs. We'll start Ducky on the herbs when the regular medicine is finished in about a week. He's doing fabulous. Thank you so much for your caring concern.

Do You know WHY? Ducky can't seem to pee? Sorry about the $800, but at least your baby is home, and in your lap of course!
I lost my copies of cat Bordhi, and ML, to Katrina, Yes I swam:(
I happened onto Queen Kahuna's Crazy Heels And Toes, on a sock tutorial. Then after reading reviews, I couldn't resist, I joined the Yahoo group, and learned more.
The draw for me was, "this method makes the best fitting sock, and is so easy to do."
The only draw back metioned is you may have to flip back and forth a bit, So make photo copies, no big deal for me!
If you want to find out more I will send the link to the site for you, directly after this post!
Thank you so much for your kind concern about Ducky. $800 later, he's home, has piddled without a catheter at the vets but not so much at home but he's only been home a few hours. He's asleep on a lap, as he should be. I'll keep you posted. I don't know Queen Kahuna....? I have Cat Bordhi's new book on knitting socks differently, can't wait to get into it.

This is my Joey, a 7 year-old Siberian Husky. He is one of our 2 rescue dogs, the other being a black and tan GSD that is quite difficult to photograph being so dark, so Joeys wins!
I just started knitting socks myself, I am on my 3rd pair. The first two were toe-ups and I am on my first pair of top-downs and I am nervous about running out of yarn (total sissy with that!). I am using magic-loop to do both at the same time, and yes, it seems socks are as addictive as they say.
I have also crocheted 3 Amigurumi bunnies and these are a blast! So much fun to make, quick, and everyone says how cute they are. :0)
I have bags of dog hair saved that I want to spin but have no idea where to start. Do you blend it with anything? Any advice or suggestions?
Hi there Louisiana! Beautiful dogs, my goodness! I love dogs and all animals too, but I cannot live without kitties. One of our male kitties was rushed to the emergency vet last night because he couldn't pee.... poor thing has to spend a few days at the vet with a catheter and IV. His name is Ducky. I should post photos of all 10 of our kitties.
I finished the latest pair of socks..did you ever learn socks? Now I''m knitting a very simple scarf to give to the fellow who plows our small town's streets. We had so much snow and ice this winter I wanted to say thank you. I am also in the middle, okay beginning of a simple lace scarf for my God daughter.

I would love to see more of Sara in her outfits. Do you think she knows she's a Goddess? Wish me luck on teaching myself to knit socks! I think it may become an addiction listening to what others say :)
That's my "goddess" Sara. We dress her up to get the great expressions. I haven't heard of that particular book, but I'm building quite a collection of sock patterns...won't be enough time in my life to make them all.
I read Sefton, and Kruger, but I'm not familiar with Ferris yet.
Do You knit socks, or crochet Amigurumi? Two things I want to do this year. I may need to limit my groups and KALs, to have the time.
Never enough time in a day, can you identify?
