I'm enjoying spinning, but have been busy with knitting projects that have some urgency. The Hemlock Ring ("Hemi" for short) was a lot of fun and easy (other than the speed-knitting part). Except for the circular CO, (there's a tutorial for that) it was all stuff from basic knitting: K2tog, SSK, YO, etc. There's one place in the center flower part where you YO twice, which makes a big loop. The next time through, you K,P,K,P,K, all in the same loop, like making a bobble. That makes the hole you see as part of the flower. Some knitters are just starting theirs.
