- I learned to knit in Denmark more than 20 years ago. I have lots of different crafty interests and my interest in knitting has waxed and waned over the years but right now I'm definitely in a knitting frenzy mode! I love to hang out in yarn stores and touch and feel the yarn and admire the beautiful colors. I usually need to have a pattern in mind before I buy though and I'm horrible with figuring out gauges! Took me four times knitting my first sock before I could get it right!
