The next two weeks or so I won't be knitting or much of anything else as I have some contractors coming in to remodel my master bath and put tile downstairs. I have waited FOREVER for the tile downstairs. I just finished a quilt top and sent it to the quilter. I made it for my neice. She'll be graduating from college in May. I am pleased with my effort but not the design and color but I didn't have a say in the matter but she'll enjoy the Baylor - green and gold colors and the cute bear fabric I added! So tell me about yourself and your knitting projects.

I'm happy about this scarf mainly because my knit stitches are consistent. That's what I have been working on for almost 2 years. I have signed up for a class at the Yarn Barn in San Antonio on April 18th, oddly a Sunday evening. It's for new knitters. I'm extremely excited.

I have been knitting a scarf..just plain old knit stitch which I enjoy. I'm just about finished. I made 1 mistake and unfortunately did not catch it so it is going to stay there. I decided no one will notice because it will be at the back of my neck when I get finished with it. It's pastel - The brand is I love this yarn and it's an ombre color. I made this scarf too wide but that's okay with me. I'm still going to add some fringe on the ends.

Hi! Thanks for writing. You are my first friend here!!! I made a pair of knit cuffs with Lion brand yarn wool-ease thick and quick They turned out just like the picture on the pattern too! I love them and they were easy to make. I started a ribbed scarf where you K2, p2 then knit sts and p the purl sts and that came out except that I couldn't figure out how to add new yarn since it was in two colors. I think I know how now but I took it all apart.

We never had more than one either, and thanks to family members passing away, and our "huge" hearts, now have 5 of the precious things... a real handful, but we love each and everyone of them. ♥s
