- I knitted quite a bit in the 60's and 70's, then got distracted doing quilting, embroidering, needlepoint etc. Last November i started again, had forgotten a lot, but found a great knitting community and local knit shop - Yarn Nook, here in Lafayette, LA. I am almost back up to speed but still need support. I ablolutely love the new yarns and patterns that are available now. Lots of new stitches and techniques! I love it!
