No problem... I try to make friends with people who are new and may need some help navigating the site. I've been a member here since 2007, but only became really active after I retired in 2009. I started knitting when I was 53, and just turned 60 this year. I have six grandchildren (3 boys and 3 girls), and they all love my knitted things... sweaters, socks, scarves, and other accessories. My latest creations were chignon covers for my oldest granddaughter who is a ballerina, and needed something to dress up her hair.
On the far left part of the screen there is an "inbox" by clicking on that you can send personal messages. Joining a KAL (knit-a-long) can also be fun, and give you more of an opportunity to meet other knitters. We also have a large group here who spins their own yarns. Fun.
