About Me:
I am 27 and taught myself to knit 7 years ago, but am not very confident. I love knitting for my friends, family, and dogs, have recently found the joy of knitting socks, and have been planning to attempt my first sweater for about three years now but still have yet to start one. The fabulous KP kits have done wonderful things for my courage, however, and I've now done multi-colored work and lace... two things I thought I would never do!

Thank you so much for answering my somewhat confusing question on using circular needles. I appreciate it.

I was thinking January or a least early in the year. From all I've heard you say, I think you have found one great guy, but then he's a really lucky guy to have found such a special girl. Just remember that no matter how long you are married, it takes lots of work. It's not a 50/50 proposition that you hear about all the time; it's a 100/100. You have to respect and trust each other. When someone recently asked my husband what is it like to be married to the same woman for ___ years [I can't remember how many it was at that time but it is now 37], his response was, "I don't know, she is constantly changing." When first married, I remember being mad about dirty socks on the floor. I sat and thought that I could either let my marriage break up over dirty socks or just pick up the socks and accept that characteristic in him. I'm so glad I learned to accept it because he is really a terrific man.

I've forgotten when the big day is. Could you remind me?

Congratulations on counting so many pickles correctly! I hope this will help decorate next year's tree as you celebrate your first Christmas as man and wife.

Thanks so much. I'm definitely making it wider. I just signed up on the KnitPicks website, and couldn't figure out where to ask my question. I'm glad you saw it. Thanks for your help. Pam
