Ah, that wonderful feeling that comes with a completely finished sweater! I finished the Sirdar Jacket yesterday; seams, buttons and all. I'm still insanely obsessed with that Swish Bulky yarn, and I can't wait for my latest order to arrive . . . .
Meanwhile, I'm finishing the last sleeve of the Refined Aran Jacket, a Veronik Avery design from Interweave Knits Fall '07 - done in Comfy, and it's knitting up just beautifully. Hopefully that one will be finished and ready for posting this week!

Wasn't it nearly a week ago I thought I was seeing light at the end of this AFO tunnel? Well, I think I can still see the light, but I'm not out of the tunnel yet. I think I see that proverbial light, so I must be nearing the end of the tunnel. Either that, or I'm having a near-death experience, but from what I've read, people don't usually blog in the middle of that type of thing, so I'm going with the tunnel theory.

Ha! Thought I was going to catch up on some WIPs, did I? Thought the Universe was going to smile on me for being a responsible adult and devoting half my Saturday to work, instead of knitting, did I? Not even close. Thanks to our customary Easter snow, yardwork is off the agenda for this weekend, and I was planning a long, self-indulgent weekend of catching up (or at least making a serious dent in) some of the projects that seem as though they've been on the needles forever.
