I am Rick's oldest sister, I was married when they moved to WV. With Daddys job we moved a lot, I went to school mostly in VA.
We have 3 children and 8 grandchildren the oldest just finished his freshman year at UK and then 2 little ones that are 4, and 2 16 year olds 1 12, 2 6 yrs. It seemed when one of the girls had babies together. Makes for a close family, we all live close. We own a plastic manufacturing factory and we all work together. My husband and I are gone a lot and leave it to the kids.
I have lots of knitting to do,. Do you work? I just finished that hemlock blanket and it was easy, want to do another. We are having Bible School and I am tired when I get home. Hope we can get togethetr next trip to WV Sharon

I was talking to Cheryl and mentioned you and she knows you I guess you were her and Rick's teacher. Rick Smith is my brother . Clendenin is a small town so I thought she might know you. Have you retired? How is your sweater going? I finished the Hemlock Shawl, blanket whatever, it was so easy and I love it. I was making the preemie hats and want to get a few more finished before I send them in. Then I will start Mr Foster, it seems I always have a couple of things going. Will start another Hemlock with a lace weight yarn, I used worsted weight and I just love it, think I will drape it over an old rocker that is in the family room. Sharon

Yes I did get to knit, Dad goes to bed early and I always stay up late, so finished a premie cap and worked on my hemlock shawl. No I have not been to the yarn store, I will check it out next trip. What are you kniting now? Want to make a few more caps before I send them in and then finish the hemlock, then want to make Mr. Foster. Have made the turtle and he is so cute, the turtles are going to be Christmas gifts for two of my grandsons, but I am going to keep the first one. Sharon

Just looking throught the guests and saw your name and you are from Clendenin, my parents lived there for several years, now my Dad and brother and family live at Elk View. Last name is Smith , my Dad worked for Columbia Gas. I still have family in your area.
I love to knit, am working on several things, and I have Sheldon started, so far very easy. Sharon
