- About Me:
- I learned to knit from library books two years ago and am now an avid intermediate knitter. I also crochet and average about three articles a month. I have no more than five projects on needles at any given time because I have learned I am not a monogynous knitter. There is a basket of knitting by my bedside, the family room, the sitting room, the basement and under the passenger seat of my car.
I find when I knit my mind is clear and I am totally relaxed. I knit in public every chance I get and actually do so in the library every Thursday evening for an hour in hopes that someone will approach me and ask "What are you making?" so I can talk about my great love and offer to teach them.
My only regret is that I cannot knit in church. I think it would be frowned upon by my fellow parishioners.
