About Me:
I have only been knitting since 2008 but I am vastly enjoying it. I also just started to spin in 2010 and am loving that too. I have many crafty hobbies involving yarn, thread, or fabric and a sweet teenager who loves to get crafty gifts.
What's your Ravelry ID (if you have one)? (

I haven't tried one of those baby surprise jackets. Next time I need to make a baby gift I'll give it a go. It looks really nice.

Hi Naomi. We probably are related. My Wheatley ancestors were from Kentuckyand Virginia. My grandfather's mom was Minnie Wheatley. Love those yellow socks in your photos.

Naomi, we are so glad you have decided to join the SAL. Hope that beautiful daughter is still enjoying her cute little hippo!

That will be such a nice gift for the baby. There is nothing like hand knitted gifts! The next time I need to make a baby gift I think I will try that pattern. I have it in one or maybe two of the E. Zimmerman books I have here. Wheatley isn't a name I here very often. My great Grandma's maiden name was Wheatley. Most of my family live in south western Virginia and in Kentucky.

Hi Naomi. I am knitting aa all-over cable cardigan for my husband and the KAL cardigan from KnitPicks. I change which one I work on every other day. I have never done one of the baby surprise sweaters. Have you made one before?
