- I learned a little about knitting years ago, and never went forward with a project. My eldest daughter asked me to teach her to knit when I was visiting her 2 years ago. I taught her what little I knew, and she has become an avid knitter. On a trip back to IL. last year I caught the bug. She laughs at my daily knitting update. We are now looking for a knitting retreat we can attend together.

I don't know of any retreats in Oregon or Washingtong. I know there are some but they tend to be hosted by local yarn stores. Try a general search on the internet and you may get lucky.
