I like photography, machine/hand knitting, machine embroidery/sewing, sequence dancing, I also like a challenge in anything I do. My husband Dougie and I are81 years of age having been happily married for 57 years, we have two sons with their families living in NZ.

hi mary, hope you are well, sorry to hear you have been having some health problems, and that you's are a bit better now, i hope you enjoy your dance trip,,, we are having a great time at our caravan, and our weather today is 30c with 40c humidity heat factor it's HOT oh well we can't complain winter is to long here. so thats all for now, mary and dougie look after your selves till next time xxx norma

hi Mary,and Dougie, hope this finds you both well .my you keep on going with your crafts ,three sweaters for the hospice great going . so are you looking forward to the pie and pea supper and dance? it's good that they have these events, it is one way to keep in touch with people you know. my sweater is not going to well, i keep makeing mistakes just simple things, oh well i will get it done i won't quit. we go to the caravan may 1 saterday and we will be there for the summer, it is only 40 minutes away, but i love it there but we can come back so easy if we need any thing ,and of course i will take my sewing machine can't live without that., don't forget to take pictures at the dance, maybe i can help get some added to your page ,let me know . have a good time take care for now, i will write again, friend --norma --

hello Mary and Dougie i hope this finds you well.I was talking to henry"s(hubby) sister's today, and i told them i was talking on the computer to you and rosie said she knew you and that millie was dougies dance partner some times. when all of you go to the the pie and pea supper. now how about that ?? i am so excited about this Mary, i hope you both go to the next pie and pea supper so they can talk with you ,oh what a small world we live in .you did not tell me about your Erin ,but i read wendy's page, you sound so proud i am pleased for you and her congratulations. i hope you don't mind that i read wendy's page? well that is all the excitment for one day, i will hear from you soon ,take care to you both your friend --norma -- keep on knitting
hi mary, how are you ?fine i hope, i'm sorry you have trouble with your legs and can't dance as much as you would wish. your embroidery sounds lovely, and to sell it and make 100pounds for the hospice is a great thing for you to do congrats . i see you are speaking to wendy, thats great, she is in nz and so is your son's and family's, and also you have been over there how exciting at least you know a bit about over there. the sweaters that you knit for your self and dougie did you do them by hand or on your machine, they must be lovely . i hope you are getting warmer weather over there now, I will close for now and speak later take care mary keep crafting your friend --norma

we live about an hour out of Christchurch on the way to mt hutt.
we have just started to get morning frosts now so it is cooling down quite a bit.
what are you knitting or embroidering at the moment ?
