Bob wondered what you would talk about...LOL. Congrats on your 100th. Kelly's podcast was the very first one I found and it is still my favorite. I don't think I have a favorite. I save them all. When I'm starting a project with a new technique I go back and listen to the one that relates to my project. Your steek podcast saved me from looking for a very high place to jump. I really like the combination of techniques, family stories and review of your books. Thanks bunches for great listening.

My favorite "today" so far was #93 . It was very useful to me as I was contemplating getting Nonna's Garden but this put me over the edge and ordered it right after the podcast. I also tried the interchangeable needles here because it needed a 60 inch cord which I of course did not own. I was so pleased with it and the silver needle piece that screws on ! I enjoy whichever podcast I am listening to at the moment !

The way I save podcasts is like this: I save it first to the hard drive under downloads in its own folder. Then I go into iTunes and File/add folder to library. Then I look for the exact folder (file) I want to upload and click on it. It always works like this.
I didn't have to do it though, the iTunes download worked fine.

I have never had problems downloading podcasts. However, even through itunes I can't move the podcasts from itunes to my ipod. I'm trying to convert each episode to AAC to see if that makes a difference. (I have a very fast internet connection and the conversion is still taking forever). If anyone has had success I'd appreciate some help! Thanks!

I am excited about having podcasts available. I can't believe I even know what a podcast is. I never thought I would be able to follow anything on a computer. How some things in life just happen to open you up to new ideas and make you have the willingness to try something new. Thanks for bringing knowledge to us out here in the world. It is like being on a teleseminar and you get to be in your p.j's if you want.

My husband gave me a 16 G iPod for my birthday in Feb, as I had been casually sighing about not being able to put podcasts on my little 2G one. I've been trying all the different knitting podcasts on iTunes and by far, Kelley's podcasts are the absolute best. I'm greedily listening to them each morning and evening and just worried that I'll catch up and have to then wait for the new one every week! ;)

I recently discovered your podcasts and am enjoying working my way through them from the beginning. Discovering them when I did really gave me a boost when I was going through a rough time in my personal life and it was helpful to find that there are people who love knitting as much as I do, maybe even more. They have also been educational and given me some good audio book ideas also.

Amy, were the directions helpful? Were you able to get a podcast downloaded?
At 2:56pm on February 23, 2009, Kelley Petkun said…
Ok someone who understands how to get the podcast to an MP3 player will have to answer Amy's questions. I'm pleased to get my iTunes to work! :)
