Knit4Many
I've been knitting now for five years. I love it! Wish I had tried it so much sooner. Though I sure am trying to make up for lost time I ALWAYS have knitting with me where ever I go. I taught myself with the help of online videos and websites. A friend gave me a spindle for Christmas and I know it will take practice and patience but I think I might have to find a class for this one.

Hi hon, it's grace!!! The book you recommended is going to be a gift to me from my dh. I know you posted it a while back but i think it will help solve many of my sock issues. I love what you wrote about cuffs, and how you make gift socks and they fit. Thanks so much for posting and I also wanted to ask, How does Romney feel? I am isolated where i live, I love alpaca, I also love merino/angora I enjoy merino but when it is the superwash i find it harder to spin just like i am finding llama harder to spin, BTW my dear friend who is the only spinner near me, she raises these sheep, dorset/suffolk PERFECT for spinning, and needlefelting..but although it is great to felt and use for purses etc, it is too rough for skin,So which wools do you think are the softest for tender skin? smiles, grace

I just looked up River Falls, WI and saw it really isn't that far from Durand. My grandma is in the "home" in Durand and my sis lives in Mondovi. Maybe next time I go up there we can meet up for coffee/tea or something. :)

So glad to add you hon, How is your spinning going? What is your fav fiber to spin?
MY drop spinning is getting too thin. I tried for a year plus to go thinner and now I can't get thick and soft again! I wonder, do you know how to do that?
My wheel has parts sitting there, but it is an old Ashford and so My dh is concerned about doing more damage.. so I drop spindle spin too. see my blog on spinning to stop pain take care, blessings, grace
