My last blog post disappeared into the ether, so let's see how this one fares. I've finished my mom's Christmas socks, and just past the toe of my sister's second sock (toe-ups). I'm also about 1/4 of the way through dad's scarf. Cumulatively, this means that I'm ahead of schedule! Hooray!

Three to go!
I finished mom's first sock last night (while watching mr.Bean hehe)! Yay! That means that I only have three socks left to knit! I also wound the wool for dad's hat and scarf, and will probably start one or the other this weekend. I'm going to wait to post a picture until the second one is done, just to get the full effect.

I love the Christmas episode of mr.Bean, when he jumps out of bed in the morning and finds his stocking. "Look Teddy, Christmas socks!" he exclaims, pulling one sock out of the other. That line keeps popping into my head as I work on my mom's Christmas socks.
