About Me:
I design the graphics for the website and weekly emails and help out with the creative concepts for marketing.

I taught myself how to knit over Christmas break 2003. The first project I made was a soft & cozy scarf for my grandma. I love knitting sweaters, mittens, hats, bags...pretty much anything.

In February 2008 I gave birth to my adorable son, just before my first wedding anniversary (April 1.) 2008 was a busy year, and so far 2009 doesn't show any signs of slowing. My husband received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in December and opened his own practice in March, so we've been learning together how to run a business (hopefully not into the ground!)

Good day,
How is everything with you, I picked interest on you after going through your short profile and deemed it necessary to write you immediately. I have something very important to disclose to you, but I found it difficult to express myself here, since it's a public site. Could you please get back to me on my private email:( for the full details?
Have a nice day and God bless you,

Hi, Katie, I taught myself how to knit about three years ago and I am so addicted to knitting! I would love to learn more about making sweaters, I have not mastered the necklines or arm holes yet.

Well Katie I wanted to introduce myself, I too live in Portland, OR. My name is Jennifer,or Jen whatever. I was excited to see a fellow rose city girl on the staff of one of my fav yarn suppliers! Let's see a little about me, I'm 32, married to an SGT in the Army National Guard, we have a girl, 6, a boy 4, and we currently are living in Dundee. I have been knitting since I was 7, when Grammy showed me, then I retaught myself during freshman year of PSU, and when I was pregnant with my girl I learned to crochet. Now I'm learning to spin and wondering why I didn't start this at 7 and move up from there. But my one problem with the yarn I have spun is that they are originals and once I use them they will be gone. I can't make them again, so I have baskets of skeins of my art lying around and not 1 pattern so far has been worthy of them. It makes me feel like a total yarn snob or something, but it's more like giving away my babies. Anyway I'm babling at you, sorry, I just love to talk about anything yarn related to anyone who will listen, an believe me that not my kids. Congrats on your baby, I love that hat pattern, it looks like "worms in the grass" Definetly not clownish at all. For my husband if it wasn't camo it was going on our girl. That didn't last very long.
