Holy Cow, I'm exhausted just reading it let alone knitting it!! hahaha I can only handle two things at a time, a major project (Salley Melville's Summer Sweater) and a pair of socks! I can't do fancy socks because every pattern I see calls for 60 stitches which is WAY to big. The only thing narrow on me are my feet!! hahaha Do you think if I went to a 1 needle I could make 60 stitches where I normally use a 2 needle with 24 stitches?
Hi Kate! Sorry to respond so late. What a cutie he is!! I have about 6 drawers of sock yarn..so I know what you mean!! Have you made a lace shawl from Wrapped In Comfort? I have made three and LOVE them. Just finished my first try at blocking with Knit Picks blocks and "T" pins, and it came out beautifully!! I was a little nervous, but I fumbled my way through. what are you working on now?
What a darling dog!! My reading is sooo far behind because I can't stop knitting!! hahaha I just finished a pair of socks out of smoochy..ocean fog. really turned out nice. I am currently working on a lavender summer sweater by Sally Norville (Book One: Knit stich). It's coming along but the Opaque part (bust) is going slowing with size 5 needles. hahahaha I like the sheer because you use the 5 on the right side and 10.5 on the wrong side, which is fun. King Tut cotton is a pain because it splits so I plan on trying Cotton Classic next since my Mom says it doesn't split. Well, gotta hit the sack...what are you planning on starting next? Have any favorite sock yarn? have you tried Jitterbug? LOVE it too!!
