The size 6 needle for the other project probably means a circular. That's the only way that I can see to fit all 200 stitches. You will most likely be working it flat and not in the round so don't join it. Work as you would a straight needle. I hope this helps.

this tutorial helped me get started, cut and paste it into your browser http://knittyotter.typepad.com/otterknits/2007/03/entrelac_scarf_.html
sometimes you can even find great tutorials on you tube.

Profile Information

About Me:
I'm retired and have been having a delightful time spending my "working" hours filled with crafts. My dad taught me to knit 59 years ago. It has been my number one passion until life's activities - husband and 2 sons who were in traveling sports- dominated my waking hours. Now my youngest son made an afhgan for his girlfriend. So the male to female insturctions have come full circle!!! I am just learning Entrlac and backwards knitting. Also make and sell many items. Just enough to feed my hobbies.

Still a Beginner

Yes, I am doing Entrelac. What a challenge and just what a needed to keep my mind off of pain. Also taught myself backward knitting yesterday. Such a good day had the least pills since my surgery. Love your support.
