Yarn!

I'm a new knitter( sort of) My home ec. teacher taught me to crochet, so that was my first passion. I would go to the library and get all the books on any thing crochet. It really bugged me that almost all the books were on knitting. ( very aggravating). So I eventually had to try my hand at knitting, which of course had me hooked the very first time I picked up needles. I love knitting everything, but I'm still pretty new. I haven't actually completed any thing but I've tried my hand at just ab… Continue

I got mine from KP and have not been disappointed, however I no longger wind a lot of yarn, it is so handy to have it in a pull skein already, however a lot of wool does not so it is nice to have both of those. Palsknitto, Irene

Oh the little piglets are so cute, make me think of my living on a farm and having to feed some piglets with a baby bottle, and being chased by the geese, those wings sure could give you a spanking Lol, palsknitto, Irene

When Angie sits near my arm and watches me knit, she will stare at the yarn thread for a very long time, usually falling asleep, but occasionally she will lunge at the yarn to grab in her mouth, but she doesn't chew on it, she just wants to grab it then lets go. You can't figure what cats are thinking!

Hi back-back! My kitties are sweetie-pies who like to 'help' me knit. Pinkie, the white and black one, will sit just out of reach and watch, or when I am winding yarn on the swift, she waits until it stops and then leaps into the center; can't help wondering what she is thinking each time she does that? Maybe she wants a free ride... Angie, her sister, is the kitty that likes to leapup on my chest, right between me and my knitting! Gives a person a heart attack! Usually she is more polite, and sits on the arm of my recliner gently patting my arm and asking permission to climb onto my lap. They're so sweet.

Thanks for the friend add!

I am a farmgirl at heart! I was raised on a dairy and beef cattle farm. We did have pigs when I was very young, but not too long. I love to go home and experience life on the farm!

Good luck on your current projects!

Her name is Pinkie and she is a funny little kitty; does not like to be picked up but she loves to be petted. She tucks me into bed every night and is right there in the morning to say hello.
