- I've been knitting since I was 7 or 8 (about 45 years - YIKES!) but do all kinds of crafts - addicted to quilting and designing home accessories. Degree in set, costume and lighting design for the theater. Avid photographer (macro, mostly). Have no children, but one dog (her photo is my avatar) who is my favorite companion. Just found ravelry, etc and love it all. used to knitting alone, but now I find there's a whole community of knitters and quilters out there!

I really love all the podcasts, but several stick in my mind:
(a) desert island knitting, (b) the episode where you talked about the 7 types of projects you always have on your needles, (c) the two I-Cord episodes - I'm a self-taught knitter and didn't even know what I-Cord was until I listened to your podcast, and now I love using it, (d) the episodes in which you talk about your normal life and how knitting fits in - while watching golf, watching college football, traveling, on your deck, etc… Continue

... not sure how I mixed them up but that would explain why you couldn't find the post! LOL!
I just joined the knitting community and read your article how you knitted an aran sweater that had no seams. I would be very interested in getting that pattern. Would you mind telling me where you got that pattern - or how I can go about obtaining it.
