About Me:
I have loved knitting since I was a teenager but now that I have grandchildren, I just love making children's clothes. My grandson thinks sweaters, (even cotton) are too hot so I make him toys, pillows, hats, etc. My two granddaughters wear everything I make so I love that!

I finished my husband's stockings and they were quite a bit too large. I washed and dried them and that helped but he will still have to wear them for warmth over another pair. Oh well, next time I will use smaller needles. Dee

You know , on reading on felting, it seems that shrinking something , it shrinks all over, so it could be shorter as well as narrow. I have never felted but have been reading on it, seeing if I could help, it would be a shame to have to rip back to the heals. Sorry Dee, wish I could help in some way. Irene

Hi, yes a lot of little things are a pain to put together, but it is really cute, What did you decide to do with your socks, do you knit from the top down, or toe up, I have ripped from the toe and re knitted one set that was too long, , happy knitting

Dee I love the sweaters with the little animals on them, how charming and the picture of the grandparents with the so cute babies, it is fun isn't it to knit for little ones. I once knitted a pink , long dress for our oldest GD when she was 5, she just loved it, until it was too tight. The little gown , how sweet, what wonderful work, Irene

I sure enjoyed seeing the new pictures. They are all beautiful, particularly the little white dress and the Christmas stocking.

Hi Dee, I enjoyed reading your message. I struggle with the Magic Loop method too. I have given it up for now because it just isn't relaxing for me, and I am used to using double points. One of my granddaughters will be 15 on Friday. We usually give them money, and then I try to find something to knit that I can put the money in. I knitted a Dumpling Bag for Elizabeth. It was very fast and fun to knit. I do agree that the weather has been nice. We haven't had too many really hot days, and today was especially beautiful. Thanks for commenting, and good luck with the Tooth Fairy Pillow. Angel
