Most of the time I make things for other people such as friends and relatives, but every now and then I believe you need to think about yourself. So that is generally when I knit myself a pair of socks. So far this year I have made myself two pairs and I am thinking
about sending off for some more yarn to make another pair.
What a neat idea, I have not knitted a pair of socks for me yet this year, I have the yarn, just knitted for others. Time for me I think. Irene

When I send in an order to knitpicks, I generally buy enough yarn for a extra pair of socks that I would like to make, just not right now. Then when I feel I urge I find a quiet corner and start on the next pair I want to make, sometimes for me,sometimes for hubby, and sometimes for my Mom or other relative.I am starting a pair for my husband for Xmas but I am having trouble with the gauge, when I get this figured out I will put up another picture of them also update my Pi Shawl I am also working on the dishtowels from the 2nd Mason Dixon Knitting Book they have a very pretty one and you can hang it on your fridge.
Time for more socks, do you have your sock yarn all ready to start. I have two pairs made, need to make a couple more, by request I am making some dishcloths, did not think I would be asked to do that. Irene
I love that shawl or throw, you are working on, and those pink socks, I want to knit me a pair of pink socks, don't you think it would make winter more cheerful, Irene
Oh, I love all your work, I just love the afghan that looks like a little flower garden how lovely, your socks look great, I love the pinks ones, i have pink sock yarn but have not cast in on yet. Happy stitching Irene
Will be looking forward to pictures, it is true time sometimes gets away from us especially if you have a family or a job or both, knitting time can be so perious, Irene
Patience is not really my problem,it seems to be time. I am also crocheting an afghan for a charity, and I sure could use more hours in the day.I will post the pictures soon .
