Most of the time I make things for other people such as friends and relatives, but every now and then I believe you need to think about yourself. So that is generally when I knit myself a pair of socks. So far this year I have made myself two pairs and I am thinking
about sending off for some more yarn to make another pair.

What a neat idea, I have not knitted a pair of socks for me yet this year, I have the yarn, just knitted for others. Time for me I think. Irene

When I send in an order to knitpicks, I generally buy enough yarn for a extra pair of socks that I would like to make, just not right now. Then when I feel I urge I find a quiet corner and start on the next pair I want to make, sometimes for me,sometimes for hubby, and sometimes for my Mom or other relative.I am starting a pair for my husband for Xmas but I am having trouble with the gauge, when I get this figured out I will put up another picture of them also update my Pi Shawl I am also working on the dishtowels from the 2nd Mason Dixon Knitting Book they have a very pretty one and you can hang it on your fridge.

Time for more socks, do you have your sock yarn all ready to start. I have two pairs made, need to make a couple more, by request I am making some dishcloths, did not think I would be asked to do that. Irene

Patience is not really my problem,it seems to be time. I am also crocheting an afghan for a charity, and I sure could use more hours in the day.I will post the pictures soon .
