Hi, Cathie. Dropped in to thanky you for friending me and to check out your lovely creations. Oh, the argyle socks just passed by. Way cool. Drop by anytime.

Hi, Cathie!  Thanks for the 'friending'! And your appreciation of my work.  But I think it's like comparing apples and oranges.  And as long as we love what we do, and a part of that is blessing others with the gifts, then no one is really more or less talented than another. Love is what makes it all equal! =)

Thank you Cathie.  Yes, practice makes perfect.  I have plenty of time.  Still dealing with lung, sinus, head congestion plus what seems an angrier body.  I damaged my right hip, sacral/sijd,spine and left knee.  I'm constantly in a twisted state with a variety of compensation patterns and what feels like muscle tug of war.  I had hoped two years ago that maybe some of the chaos would improve with hip resurfacing.  But the multifaceted problems I deal with makes docs scared to do anything.  So, we shall both keep a chin up and deal with life's challenges.  Fat is a toughy and I am getting plumper and unable to exercise.  But, Boy can I give myself a crochet workout.  lol  Burns calories but not where I need to lose. ;-)

I'm am Knitting it for My Aunt, who has always been there for me, when I had no one at times. She is my only family and she just turned 61. I'm knitting it as a late birthday present and a early Christmas present :)

Wish me Luck :)

Have I? Been over on ravelry and on the boards here. Been conversing with Peggy and Cheryl a lot via email and finishing up a lace shawl test knit as well as knitting mitts and socks.

Hey girl..lol I know what you mean...however I just felted my first piece...I kept it a bit larger but it can be refelted if I want it smaller..check my site...

You can always crochet a 4x4 block and felt it to see how it turns out...

also I learned wet felted item can be manipulated a bit...

Good Luck..I am sure you can do it when you are ready..

I never thot I could lol..
