Carmie's Page

About Me:: I love to knit. I was taught when I was eight or so and picked it up again in my mid fifties. I consider myself an advanced beginner. I have in turn taught others to knit who are far surpassing me in difficult projects but I'll catch up someday.
I've made several scarfs, dishcloths and several pairs of socks. I am currently working on a sampler afghan which I hope to finish this decade. I am working up my courage to tackle a sweater.
I am part of a knitting group of ladies started by a great local librarian.

I love your blue knitted shawl. I have been looking for something similar to knit to keep at work. It is always so cool in my area, I usually end up wearing a sweater. This would be a great substitute. I'll look for the pattern. Thanks for the great idea. Carmie
