Ooooooh oh ...I found the kewlest pattern I think you will LOVE.
It is called the POTATOE CHIP SCARF..It kinda looks like a ruffly boa.
POTATOE CHIP SCARF SIMPLE
Cast on 20 knit one row
Row 2 K 8 turn ( you will put the yarn back behind the needle)K 8 back
Row 3 K 6 turn K6
Row 4K4 turn K 4
Row 5 K 20
Repeat from Row 2 - 5 until scarf is the length you want.Finish on a Row 5 ( k 20 Bind off the next row.
easy peasy and too kewl...
Knit Picks also has it here as a free download...I found this pattern easy to follow.
