I started crocheting again when I became disabled due to fibromyalgia and an auto accident that injured my spine. I was an RN for a few decades, having taking time off to raise my beautiful son (23) and daughter (20). Mike and I have been married 25 years and we have lived in Albuquerque for 18 years. I have 5 chickens which I keep for eggs, and we have 2 cats (plus my daughter's dog lives with us while she is in college). I love God, my family, and doing things for others. Bless all who visit my page.
What's your Ravelry ID (if you have one)? (www.ravelry.com)
Good Morning, I hope you are feeling better. The temps have dropped quite a bit in NC, it feels like Autumn. I pulled out my Amazing Ruby pullover yesterday AM as I couldn't get the chill out of these bones. :-)
Thanks for the 'friend'! Thanks for your comment on my rooster, too. I like him. We have one rooster (real) right now, but he doesn't rule the chicken pen. The duck does! I didn't expect that at all. Quite funny. :)
Your mitts are really cute. I love to crochet too. I have knitted three pairs of mitts so far and need to mail them. When I started beading it was hard to even find a bead store now they are every where and everyone is beading. I am now quilting and making fabric purses. I will go take a look at more of your handmade goodies. I can see them as I type. Love your shawls.
