Sock blank drying.

KP sock blank dyed with Koolaid (grape and lemon-lime) and Kroger brand Neon Food Coloring (blue). I spooned it on to get an irregular pattern and overlapped the colors slightly. Then I rolled the whole thing up in plastic and put it in a jar of warm water in the sun. When the water was clear, I rinsed and washed it and laid it out to dry. I think you could use lace-blocking wires to keep the edges flat and make it easier to get the color all the way to the edges. Might try that next time.
