Here is my current favorite - he sits on my desk & guards it from thieves.

What, no water pistol? --P
OMG, Susan, my 24 year old is still a Lego nut. I'd promised myself I would slow down on buying patterns but how could I resist? ♥c
Yeah, my DS (almost 18) really wants me to make the Lego guy. Anyone made him?

Lena
who needs another project like...well...
I sent the link to DS2 and his GF, who knits. DS2 has about 15 packing cases of Legos. (We used to call him "The Lego King of California" back when he was a kid. We lived in California then.) I'll let you know what kind of response I get. --P
haahaaa! if yours is 'The Lego King of California' then mine must be the 'The Lego Prince'
If DS2 still lives in California, he should visit Legoland...obviously for kids, but a Lego-nut would be in heaven and they have Mini-Land USA that is worth the price of admission alone - Incredibly detailed. HERE is a link to get an idea of it.
I never would tell mine about the corporate lawyer turned Lego artist: Nathan Sawaya. Hmmm.... maybe I should be lawyer turned knitting artist. ♥c
DS2 lives in Portland, OR. Maybe he could go to "Fiberland" instead.
Peggy, he really shoud go to Lego land if he is ever in the San Diego area. I have been there twice and I still must say that Legos were and are the best toys EVER. This fiberland, hmmm, that sounds like fun.
My DF would love that. The closet thing we have to that is Lego World at The Mall of America.
I'm sure Lego fans of any age would love Legoland. All of us probably prefer Fiberland! --P
