Please join me for a UFO KAL Party
Christmas is drawing near and the UFOs are piling up. Let's get together and do something about while having fun.
All day Friday, all around the world, every time zone, so come and check in when you're around / have time. There are bound to be people around. And what's better than get together, have a great knitter natter and a party at the same time?!
I'm bringing coffee (so far) and will think of something else. Now all I have to do is go through those flying saucers (UFOs) and see which one wants to get caught and a little closer to getting finished.

Hi, Allison! Welcome. Come in and make yourself comfy. It's bound to be a long time (wohoooo :)). There's still plenty of coffee left. And I just made a pot of Earl Grey tea, too. :) Just the right thing to snuggle up with on a cold winter morning (yeah, I know, the calender says it's still late autumn, but here it feels like winter - and we haven't yet had snow!)
I am taking you up on that cup of tea. It's a chilly, very windy, day in Boston.
Just help yourself, Allison. It only takes a tick to make a fresh pot when this one's done. :)
My favorite right now is Tetley's British Blend but I do love Earl Grey too.
Yeah, we love that, too. But would you believe we can't find that anywhere here (in ENGLAND)?
I have a Tetley's biscuit tin we picked up during our time in England. It came filled with tea. I also like Yorkshire Gold tea. --P
Oh, we have the Tetleys tea tin, but no Tetley's tea in it. We use PG now, though the Yorkshire Gold is also wonderful. :)
That is too funny!

I couldn't figure out how to attach the file to this, but I think I got it figured out! The pop up window wasn't fully visible, is that because my screen is so small? Anyway, have some cheese and I'll check back in later.
Oh, that sock yarn is real lovely (and your china, too, by the way). Looks like you're well on track. :)
Thx, I didn't have time to order KP, but I am really liking this Patons Kroy FX. It's a tad bit thicker than KP, so am using size 2 1/2 needles and getting about 8 sts/inch.
Patons Kroy is absolutely lovely. They do have it here in the UK, too. But so far I wasn't too sure about how it knits up. Might just give it a go some time soon. I feel a visit to my LYS coming up. Now all I need is save up for it, LOL
