How are your UFOs coming? Show us your progress! Below is one of my poster children for the UFO. It's my Yei Figures bag by Nicky Epstein. It has been languishing for a number of reasons. I will finish it! You probably have some, too!
This new discussion replaces the "Updates on UFO Progress" discussion that seems to be clogging up. Feel free to post to either.
Well, there is big, and there is BIG!!! DH has a nephew who wears a 16 or 17.. now that IS

Permalink Reply by cherylbwaters on October 29, 2011 at 7:28pm OK, I know we are getting knitting done... maybe not finished, but making progress... Haven't seen a post here in a while. I'm working on several projects... first is a sparkly cowl for a very dear friend... I'm nearly half way finished. Should finish in another day or so.
Yarn: Stroll Glimmer in Fiesta... Pattern: Fresco Basket Whip Cowl.
I'm also doing a simple pair of socks (no pattern)... but again using Stroll Glimmer in Black and Foxglove.
And finally I'm doing a simple baby blanket, using Bernat Baby Jacquards in Macaroon... a nice brown/blue multi...
Bottom line, progress IS being made!

Permalink Reply by cherylbwaters on November 15, 2011 at 10:14pm I love how the baby blanket is progressing!
Thanks, I'm very happy with that, too!
Permalink Reply by Peggy Stuart on November 16, 2011 at 5:30am Oh dear! I almost wish I hadn't seen your cowl and socks with the glittery Stroll...it's even more beautiful than I had imagined. And I've had that very cowl in my Rav queue for quite some time (sigh). Perhaps KP will have a cyber Monday sale again this year (fingers crossed)...it's the only way I could justify any purchase of yarn.
In case it got lost in the shuffle, I meant to say I lurve your WIPS, especially that cowl!
Beverly, Thanks so much...glad you like my WIPs... This is the second one of these cowls I've made, and I love the pattern... the only change I made to the basic pattern is to begin with a few rows of 2x2 ribbing instead of garter stitch... it lays better... and the finishing with have the same ribbing...
I was really lucky with the pics... the glittery part does not always show up, but these show the fabric to it's advantage.
