Nearly... I'm most of the way down the foot... I'll finish it later today or tomorrow...no rush.

I make pretty short socks for us... and nothing fancy... no lace, etc.  Only problem is DH needs size 10 1/2... that takes a bit more yarn.

I hear you. DH has about the same. It's not the extra yarn - it's the last few rounds that just seem to drag....

I think getting past that FIRST sock is the big thing... after that it all becomes easy.

OMG - and I'm thinking mine are tiny, having my 5s against DH's 10s or 11s (depending on the type of shoe he wears)
