I just ordered my book and it will be on it's way in 3-8 days. Then I will have to see if I have all the knitting needles. Then get started on my sampler. If I have problems not understanding I'll be asking for help!

Tell me about the compulsive yarn stash... I could knit for at least a year and never buy another yard of yarn! LOL!

Yes I meant Jacqueline Fee sorry about that one..
I have plenty of yarn at home. I could fill a small boat up lol. I see yarns and haveto have then wonder what am I going to do with them. Lucky I buy enough to make a sweater for myself or enough lace weight to make a shawl.

I have no idea what changes were made in the 2nd edition from the first, but, I have the second one. If you run into any issues, perhaps the second clarifies it, so let me know.

You may also try taking your older copy with you to the bookstore/library and checking them against each other?

I do have one question: Did you mean to "Jacqueline Fee" rather than "Mary Fee" cuz if you didn't, you may not have the right book at all. :-\

I was planning on doing the sampler. Just liked the yarn. So bought it ahead of the game. You know me... I can't have enough yarn around to play with.Bren

What needle do we start with? I'm going to Bosie this friday for an appointment. I could buy it there if I don't already have it. Bren

Welcome, Bren. Do realize that you'll have more fun if you work the Sampler first... You'll see it when you get the book, and you can see my photos and blogs about it in my profile.

You'll learn a LOT of basic and intermediate skills that will make your sweater experience a lot less frustrating. You don't HAVE to do the Sampler, but I've not heard of anyone yet who felt it was a "waste of time"... so I would encourage you to do that before tackling the sweater. :-)

Just got my yarn for my sweater.I decided on getting Eco friendly yarn. It's from Caron. It's very soft. And it's my favorite color! Blue! All I need know is to get the book. Then I can join you all with the knitting the sweater. Can't wait until then.Have a great day! Bren
