Tour de Fleece, anyone?

Tour de Fleece starts Saturday July 2nd and runs until Sunday July 24th, 2011. There is a Ravelry group. Anyone interested? I'm signed up, although July will be a very busy month for me. I will be traveling with the 5th wheel (a trailer, not a spinning wheel, LOL! I will be taking Stanzi, my Kromski Sonata, since she folds up so nicely and isn't heavy) to Oregon and back for DS2 and DDIL2B. This is the ultimate spin along. You can spin as much or as little as you like, and there are groups you can join to cheer each other on. Are you in? We could have a KP team....

Yes, it was... almost as good as a KAL... and I got a lot of yarn made, too. I can't wait for this year's episode.

Peggy that is beautiful how many ounces did you spin for each color? I love the sweater where did you find the pattern?

I'm going to do a coat similar to that that I saw Cat wearing on www.letsknit2gether.com while she was on the Alaska cruise.

I need to start my spinning I just bought some fiber from Woodland Woolworks they are going out of buisness here in Oregon I sure hate to see them close.

Four ounces each of the blue, taupe and white, three ounces of the orange and about eight ounces of the natural dark chocolate.

Where did you find the pattern?

Ooooo, good question. The yoke pattern was out of a Swedish pattern book that belonged to my Swedish friend. The rest was based on Elizabeth Zimmermann's percentage system with a little of the instructions for the yoked sweater from Knitting in the Old Way<\u>.

Ok, I followed your link... but still don't know exactly where to sign up. Do I just pick a team? I didn't join in last year, so I'd qualify in the Rookies group. A KP team would be fun!!

You can just join the group until you decide what team(s) to be on. Last year there was a KP team.
