I'm working on these for Daphne:

They should fit a foot the right size for a size 6 children's size shoe. (She's in a 5 now.)
The yarn is Knit Picks Tonal "Golden Glow."

Oh I didn't know that leftovers and sock yarn didn't count as stash. . . hmm, would DH buy into that reasoning?
It's worth a try! It has always worked for me. LOL!
I figure that if DH thinks it is ok to buy more woodworking tools & RC planes, then I can buy more sock yarn & who cares if it is considered stash or not :)
Go for it! (My DH skis. You can imaging how much cheaper my hobbies are!)
I'm still having problems with the reply button. I've rebooted my computer several times. It is definitely a Ning issue. There is no tool bar.
Anyway, Dawn. Sock yarn and left over yarn, even if it is a full scan, is not stash. My DH just rolls his eyes.
I think we can make this an official decree of the Fairy Godknitters.
I've never had the tool bar on my iPad, but my reply button has been working since about the middle of yesterday afternoon. I would gladly trade the Chat Room bar for a tool bar! (Just think! No more coding needed!)
Well, the reply button still isn't working for me. I've rebooted several times. There is still no tool bar and I agree that a tool bar is much more important than a chat bar. For others who are having problems, Jenny has reported all of it to Ning.
It just worked for me...
I think it tends to be spotty. I was having all kinds of problems yesterday using my iPad. Today, no problems. (Of course, I don't have the tool bar on the iPad anyway, so I wouldn't know if it was missing or not!
For what it is worth I didn't have this experience til this week and a half dozen times it has been No Tool Bar/ No Reply response. It does come back, though!  Probably a ocmplication of the success of the Discussion Boards -- more traffic, more trouble.
We're overloading the system? Could be. I'm here most of my at-home waking hours!
Here's the finished pair of gold socks:

The bit of yarn to the right of the pair is what I had left. I have another 100 g of Stroll Golden Glow Tonal untouched. I bought too much for the Bees' Knees. Maybe I'll make something for myself from it!
