I just finished my first pair of socks.  I watched Kellys sock class using the majic loop and she is wonderful!  I just did what she told me to do and I have a great pair of socks that fit my feet.  I tried dpn's and just can't get the hang of it so this was instant gratification when I was able to finish a sock in less than a week.  Now I just need to try and figure out how to change my sock patterns that call for 4 dpns into a pattern for the majic loop.

Beautiful! I'm glad that the magic loop method works for you, it has always done nothing but confuse me. I do one sock at a time, toe up on two circulars.
I was going to try the two circular method first and was looking for some sock yarn when I came across Kelley's sock class and I was thrilled to catch on right away.  I tried the DPN's and I was sick to my stomach after 3 rounds and then dropped a few stitches.  I was ready to say never again but now I am glad I tried the majic loop.  I think I will try to do 2 socks at once the next time around.

Julie, when I use ML, I typically put the instep stitches on one needle and then the heel stitches on the other. I hope that helps you figure out how to convert from the pattern with 4 needles. You can actually convert any pattern to ML or 2 circs. Or you can convert from ML or 2 circs to dpns.

BTW, very cute socks! Congrats!

Cheryl, thanks for the tip on converting patterns.  I am going to start another pair of socks this weekend and I am going to try to convert a dpns pattern to ML.  Thanks for the encouragement.
Well, let me know if you have any trouble!
