Where'd you get those eyes?

OK so I received 3 kits (gave one to a friend), did a swatch on size 3 needles and got started. Near the bottom of p. 3, 1st column of instructions, it says "Attach safety eyes to head."

Please advise source for the eyes, what size should they be, is there some more information on how to attach them? My local AC Moore only has glue-on googly eyes (and of course, buttons).

Maybe an additional "notions" kit could be made available for Sheldon.

I got my eyes at Hobby Lobby. They only had 10 mm instead of 9 mm, but it was better than those googly eyes!

They have a plastic washer that goes on the back. Pretty simple.

You can try www.etsy.com to buy materials for handmade items, or try www.crscraft.com and search for "9mm eyes". I've seen some people embroider eyes or use buttons, too!
