I am at the part where I have added the burgundy and worked short rows until there are 10 stitches between the wrapped stitches. The next step is to knit to the first wrapped stitch. My question is what wrapped stitch, the first buckskin wrapped stitch or the burgundy wrapped stitch? What's confusing is how do you work each row until there are 17 stitches between the wrapped stitches? I ended the short rows with 10 stitches between the wrapped stitches, I am not understanding where 17 stitches comes in. Am I making any sense?

Cheryl,
You are my HERO! Thanks so much for the directions!!!
Maggie
Maggie, I'm so glad the directions helped. I know when the second kit came out there were a couple of ladies asking about how to do the mouth. So I took some scrap worsted yarn and did it on big needles so I could analyze it.
Cheryl, I also want to send a big thank you for helping me finish up the monkey with those "mouth" directions. I ripped and ripped about 4 times trying to knit the mouth so when I received your very detailed directions, I ripped out again and started with your directions and the mouth looks fantastic. So thanks again for the help.
Absolutely, not a problem. I love figuring out how to solve knitting problems. For you and Maggie, it was easy because I'd already done it. I know this file is uploaded elsewhere but I couldn't locate it easily so just uploaded it again. Someday, I'm going to crash KP's server and then I'll get kicked off everyone's Christmas list!
I am pretty sure KP is not going to kick you off at all! And even more sure that you would be a most welcome addition to everyone's Christmas list!!! Are you sure you don't want to move to NW Ohio?
