I have a question, Can you clarifiy on page 11 of the Learn to knit scarf. States"Continue in purl to te end of the row. Knit all the stiches to the endof the row. Now turn your work, slicp the first stitch, and purl to the end of the row. Pepeat these last k rows 3 more time ore for a total of 5 repeats. Am I suppose to have 10 rows now?

Page 13 states Repeat these last 2 rows , 5 times for a total of 7 repeats.

Please Help clarify.,

Also is there any help on how to join, diffrent Yarn, or colars?

1. Yes, that would be 10 rows.
2. There is one repeat before the "Repeat these last 2 rows, 5 times... etc. so you will actually have 7 repeats, or 14 rows.

Joining can be found here (about half way down the page - there are several methods).
Page 13 also has instructions for joining a new yarn. This is really pretty good information. --Susan
Hi Edwina,

You are correct, there should be 10 rows total of that section of knit one row, purl one row (5 repeats total.) You are starting with a knit row and ending with a purl row.

The instructions on page 13 are also correct, there will be a total of 14 total rows of purl one row, knit one row (7 repeats total.)

Also, here is a video that might be helpful - it does not have different color yarn changes, but it does show how to join a new ball of yarn!

Hope this helps!
