Start a new shawl for the new year?

Is there anyone who is interested in starting a new shawl, perhaps one from the Lace knitting of Estonia book???? I would love to have someone working through one of the gorgeous shawls with me after the New Year. The nupps should be the challenge from this shawl for me at least.

Looking gorgeous!! That yarn does look scrumptious. I love the beads. They will catch the light in the finished shawl very well, I think. Just a little bling. :)

Thanks, Pickle. Yes!! I love the way the beads and yarn work together 'in person, for real'! It reminds me of the 'in' bridal gowns right now that have the silvery blingy appliques on them.

Thanks, Backy! Now if I could only lock the doors and knit away with no disruptions until it's done! For purely selfish reasons, of course! I love to knit lace and I hate having to put it down. =)

I think this looks just lovely! I actually really like the subtle effect of the beads rather than a bold choice, it adds just the amount of sparkly in my opinion :)

Thaks! The beads really don't show in the picture as boldly as they do 'in person'. They look whiter here and more silvery in actuality. But I think it's perfect!
