By December 24, this thread will be the most beautiful collection of knitted items ever gathered.

I'm so excited at the thought of getting to finish an item and then get lots of oohs and ahhhs from people before I even wrap it. I'm even MORE excited to see what other people finish to give away!

I'll start us off, many of you have seen this one already--I finished a toilet paper cozy for my little brother and his new bride. It's a spicy tuna roll.

No problem, I was just wondering if it was another book for my library! teehee
It was the first sock knitting book that I bought, though I had used a socks pattern from the internet to learn. It has a lot of nice tips for sock knitters, explains the Kitchener Stitch, and all on dpns, but I still use some of the patterns, like the Best Foot Forward. --S
Susan, these look wonderful, so nice and cozy! I love the color. Doesn't that make you feel great that he is so happy?
One more Christmas Gift knitted.

I created this pattern using the Foaming Waves Cloth pattern - two pattern repeats separated by a yo, k1, k2tog pattern (one of the fagot stitches). I used a sewn bind off. I still need to block, but the knitting is finished.

Yarn: Palette, 1 ball Salsa Heather, 1 ball Golden Heather, held together.
Needle: 10 U.S.

Close up of stitches:

Susan, I really like those colors mixed together.
It's really a bit more on the red side than the picture shows. Once I get it blocked, I'll try to take an outdoor pic... it's suppose to be sunny today. --S
That looks lovely Susan! I've been really into cowls lately...I wish I was back in I was in Boston because of my walk to work in the bitter cold. It's just nice to be able to pull it up over my nose! :)

It doesn't (normally!) get as cold here in the PNW, but I still like to wear them!
Ok, one more finished!

Pattern; Coaster Rider Dish Cloth
Yarn: Comfy Blackberry

And here is a better close up of the scarf.

You certainly are cranking them out!
Those look awesome. I love the Salsa and Golden Heather together!
Angela, Thanks. When I saw the two colors together, I knew it would turn out nice. --S

I finally finished my monster for a grandson at college in Milwaukee. That pocket is so handy for tucking in a note and some $$.
