Need help with your entrelac project? I do.
It doesn't seem to be that hard to do, but I have holes where I picked up sts. I picked up just one loop. If I pick up a whole st, will I still have holes? --Peggy

Peggy, I will email you the file I used to learn entrelac. It may help with those holes. You may be picking up the stitches wrong. I tried to put it on my original post, and the file didn't save.
Susan: Got it! Thanks! I'll let you know what progress I make. I'm slowed down by computer problems. (My mouse died, R.I.P., mousie! And my internet was down, too!) --Peggy
Could I request this file also? I seem to keep messing up on where I am supposed to be picking up stitches along the side of the blocks.
Susan I just joined this group and would love to have the file you learned from it would help me out.
I'm still finsihing up my shawl then I can start doing this.
Thank you,
Jean in Oregon
Jean,
I sent this file to Nan the other night, and the file download did not work. Try searching on "Basic Entrelac" the page will show pictures of the step by step process of starting and finishing a section of entrelac.
Great I will do that thank you.
Jean
would you please email me a copy of that file..I to are having holes
I found that if I only took half of the st for picking up, I got holes. I didn't get the holes when I picked up using the entire st each time. --P
Peggy: Without a mouse, or the internet, you ARE in trouble. I'll be out most of tomorrow. Two birthday parties - one in the morning and one in the evening, but I will try to check in. Susan
I'll be at my minigroup from 10:00 AM until I get home. (I may stop at the store.) I'm also working on Mr. Foster, so I am up to my ears in UFOs now! Have to add the entrelac scarf as a UFO! Ouch! --Peggy
I here you. My list is just growing and growing. I have no will power or control. I'll start my entrelac soon. I'll probably do a practice swatch first and work out any kinks there before I move on to the scarf. I'd like to see Mr. Foster when you are done. How is your Sipalu bag coming?
Uh...it's coming. Yeah, it's coming...right! --Peggy
