Permalink Reply by christina | AlohaBlu on May 16, 2012 at 11:53am LOL!! Yes, Wailua Falls is one of my first colorways (you actually bought the very first one i ever dyed up - in WOTA roving :) )
I thought I'd seen the inspirational photo before.

Permalink Reply by Peggy Stuart on May 27, 2012 at 8:42pm Scrumptious!
I did some dandelion dyeing last month, and was NOT very happy with the results.
So today, I turned the center skein into this, using acid dyes. I had a little left over Teal from my dyeing session yesterday, and added a dab of Yellow Sun and a smidge of Silver Gray. I used my typical crock pot kettle dye process.
What do you think?

Permalink Reply by Ramona on May 25, 2012 at 8:22pm Very nice indeed. I like the way the original marigold just peeks through the green. That looks great, I may try that with some similar colorway Paternayan I have earmarked for felting with another colorway. I actually did an emerald green last fall that turned out to be so very nice. I am looking forward to more dyeing this summer!
