Hi

i,ve finished the bonnet  just need to buy the ribbon

now to make the leggings

Pictures, we need pictures. :)

I just picked up a bunch of vintage knitting patterns on Ebay recently too. I'm working on a 1940s romper. It's almost done--just need to do the collar. I took the pattern intended for fingering weight yarn (it appears that just about all 1940s baby patterns are for fingering weight yarn) and converted it to DK weight. I'm making the romper in Knit Picks Cotlin. It's looking pretty cute, if I do say so myself. I'll get a picture when it's done.

Hello

hi the photos are on my page

Those are lovely. That little jacket has a very French look, doesn't it. What type of yarn did you use (cotton, acrylic, etc.)?

hello thank its an English pattern  from 1930/40

its just acrylic a cheap one £1.20 per 100g

the garments are for show at the Re-actments  I go to..

I love the patterns so simple.. it must have been hard in the WW11  to

keep your love ones warm.. Make and Mend theme..
