It seems as if everyone has been bitten by the vest bug this November! I've had my eye on Eunny Jang's Ivy League Vest for a while, so I've come up with some Palette substitutions for it. Decisions, decisions!

As always, please note that these have not been swatched--they are just virtual approximations. I recommend ordering a couple of "backup colors" with these, so you can play around and come up with the perfect harmony of color.

Wow, you have been busy! You are really making all this colorwork tempting.
Great colorways!! Thanks Melissa for the creative research you've done for us!! It's a georgeous vest--isn't that the vest on her website for a free download?--it's georgeous!!
That's so funny that there's a vest bug because I was obviously bit by it too! ;) I bought my yarn for this vest a few months ago and have been eagerly waiting to CO (am making myself do gifts/finishing up of other projects first!). It is absolutely the next thing I'm knitting for myself. I've never knit a vest because I don't often wear them, but all of the new colors in Palette that were introduced this fall really inspired me to do this vest (I loved it when I first saw it, but again, not really a vest wearer). One of the reasons I joined the Mystery Colorwork KAL was because of the steek - I've never really done one, so thought it would be good practice before the Ivy League steek.

These are beautiful color combinations. I can't recall off the top of my head which exact colors I purchased, but it's a combo of browns/neutrals/pinks. Can't wait to see the onslaught of other Ivy Leagues!
I LOVE your name. "thepinksheep" Just love it!!!

I LOVE the roses colorway. Shame on you for tempting me yet again. So how much of each color is needed?
