Laura, your colors are really looking beautiful. The dominant yarn is showing really well.
Well, insomnia isn't good for much, but it does get you places with your knitting. Here is week three's progress:

Both of you did a great job. I don't think either of you saw the surprise I posted after Melissa. I didn't have a chance to get it up right away, but if you get a chance, I'd like to take a look at it and let me know what you think.

Wow y'all these are really pretty! I'm loving some of the color combos everyone is coming up with. The original combo is gorgeous and it's so neat to see everyone's take on colorways.
I had a bit of time to get #3 done last night too. Then I downloaded the Sipalu pattern to try too....this type of knitting is very addicting. Here's a photo. I used a lot of warm earthy colors.
Michelle, I'm in love with your colors!
Love the color combo! Really great!!!
Michelle, beautiful color combination...I love reds (my favorite color:-) and greys together. Everyone's piece is so different with the color combos even thought the pattern is the common link. Every one is beautiful and unique! This is so fun!!!
For a piece made of a colorway that is not my favorite, this is SO
beautiful! You did a wonderful job of choosing your colors. It is a
very painterly piece and you are currently leading the competition
for my prize. -- Judith
Aaaww! You are all so nice. Thanks for the positive comments. I started another version and was not loving the colors, so ordered more palette so that I could make it the colors I wanted instead of using stash. Palette is such a great product: so many colors, and surprisingly soft!

I could not help myself and also purchased the Sipalu pattern to make with all the palette I have now. It is really hard to control myself and also not order the east meets west bag kit. Must finish WIP. Must finish WIP.........
Michelle, I'm still resisting East Meets West. I really like the cute knitting bag also, and the hat, and the ....

Here is my Week 3 pic. The flash on the camera washed the colors out a little.
