Yummy Yarn!

Oh boy, Oh Joy! My luscious yarn arrived today. It's bad form to
drool, isn't it? I have got to finish paying the bills and then disappear
into my hole and knit. I am sooo excited. This a really beautiful sweater.
Bonus - it should be light weight enough to wear comfortably in Tucson
in the winter.

Oh, and I have to be sure to turn off the phone so my Honey pup can't call the
ASPCA for neglect. We'll just have to take play breaks periodically.

Wow! That's terrific! I have to wait to Friday to order mine, but that's OK, I can enjoy your fun vicariously whilst I finish that sweater I have told myself I have to finish before starting anything new! What colors did you choose? That's always one of my first challenges.

I chose Pinot Gloss with Galaxy Shimmer. Purple is my very favorite color and
these two are so beautiful. I've been running through my winter wardrobe in my
head and a lot of it will go with this sweater. I browsed the color swatches that
Kelley did and this one just jumped out and grabbed me. There was another one
that tapped me on the shoulder. I may just have to do another one. Good luck!

Oh no....I think you just gave me a color idea for a fourth CLC. Pretty soon my wardrobe will just be CLCs. :)

This is at the very least, a swatch in embryo form. I'm ready to CO to see which size needles I'll end up using. Wish me luck everyone! (Getting the yarn is half the battle...uh, actually, there was more. Don't ask me about my ball winder. Good thing I got extra yarn. That one ball should be passing over South Africa about now...)

My colors are Shadow in "Sunset" and Shimmer in "Sunkissed." Yum! The flash makes the shadow appear shiny, which it isn't. It's a very rusty color. The Shimmer is kind of peachy, sort of a pastel form of the rust.

Okay now a fifth color combo I want to do...what's the world coming to....maybe I should start a support group for those of us so addicted to color we want to knit a million of these. :)

Gorgeous colors, Peggy! Sorry it'll be a little bit before you'll be able to start... but we'll celebrate with you when you are able to caston... maybe I'll be ready to start mine by then. I just ordered the rest of the yarn to make the one for DD tonight...

Can't remember if I've said here what colors I'm doing... I think so, but... Oregon Coast Heather and Galaxy Shimmer.
