Knitting Community

I know, I must be one of the very last people to be finishing their CLC. I'm a slow bee. :)

The steeking went well, and I am now knitting the front bands. What I've been scouring the board for are pics of other people's wrong side of the band and steek. I'd love to compare what I see with what other's have done, to see if I've done things correctly.

Please post pics of your inside steek and bands!!! Many thanks!

I am definitely going to run a scrap yarn through the stitches soon, so that I can try it on just to make sure that it is enough room for my tummy area.  I have a good sized hernia that needs to be covered right at my waist line so that is definitely an issue.  But having lost 6 inches off my bust, 5 inches off my waist, and 6 off my hips, all in the last 3 years or so, has definitely changed my measurements, lol.  It is quite helpful now that my daughter has been learning to sew, she took a class in high school last semester, beginning, she was too nervous for mom to teach the basics.  But now she is quite comfortable to go straight down to the sewing/quilting/fiber storage area and start sewing or repair something, great!

Catch you later,

Janet
