Voila! I am so excited. I'm going to wear this thing all the time. Despite my fairly major mistake (thanks for the advice Allison!), it all came out all right. I can't wait to start my next one. Hehe.

So great! (And your house looks like mine -- kids' paraphernalia and all!)
Yup....there is a song by Go Fish called the Mom Song and it says if your living room floor looks like a toy store your a mom. :)
Is that the same song where they sing about the mini van? They're so funny. :)
Yup, that's the one. They are very funny, yet there music is not annoying like lots of kid's music.
Very pretty! I think I need one in that color, too! --P
That red is really a neutral color and so I wouldn't worry about what you wear with it. Maybe some colors wouldn't go as well, but the purple looks great. So would hot pink, maybe not bright yellow, but who knows?
Anyway, neutral red - great color on you.
I was going back through some discussions and saw your picture. The color is great on you. My eye caught the Ultimate Sweater Machine in the background and I was wondering if you've used it and what you think about it. Was thinking about getting one, but my husband thinks since it's made from plastic it won't work well. I've only talked to one other person about it and they said it worked really well (they are employed at a sewing/craft store that sells them). Thanks for any input you might have, Robin
Here's mine: (I JUST finished the last stitches minutes ago -- it's finally finished! Those last bits of detailing are just about enough to kill me, especially with the buttons this time. But it was so fun, at the same time.)

(This was taken by my five-year-old, by the way.)
Nice dump truck!! :)
Amanda: I like what you did with the design! Very creative! --P
Thanks! I love having the ribbing on the sleeves; it gives the sweater such a nice, cozy feeling. And I figured, hey, why not match the ribbing on the neckline? (Then I don't have to sew it down...) I love that this design is so easily adaptable to little changes like that.
i love the buttons im not even close to being done with mine but i realy want to add buttons how did you do the buttons? i see the loops are those knit or crochet?
