As Alison designed and knit this sweater for herself, I found that I had completely fallen in love with it. Her design has so many of my favorite elements of traditional sweater knitting techniques but they are updated to give this cardigan a sleek, modern look.

Highlights of This Sweater

- Knit in the round
- No seams to sew!
- Knit with two strands of solid colored laceweight yarn with one strand of hand-dyed lace weight yarn every few rounds as an accent.
- Steeked front opening
- Sewn hem, button bands, and cuffs
- No buttonholes! Close with shawl pin or brooch
- Subtle waist shaping
- Raglan yoke shaping

And, I haven’t knit it yet so we will be able to share our challenges, mistakes, corrections and successes as we go along!
